Dear Notre Dame & Palma Alums,

Shortly after graduation, a group of parents got together to establish a Memorial Award at Notre Dame in Stacey Mead's honor. The $500 award is a monetary gift that is presented each Spring at an Academic Award Assembly to a a junior who is active in school and community activities, and demonstrates spiritual leadership. The Award is presented by Stacey's sister, Tammy, and the winner's name is added to a Stacey Mead Memorial Plaque which is displayed in the front office at Notre Dame.

The Stacey Mead Memorial Award has continued all these years, and is being administered by the Notre Dame High School Foundation. In order for the Award to continue to provide these scholarships, the base of funding must be maintained at $10,000. The base has diminished slightly, and is currently at $7,000.

We would like to set a goal to raise the $3,000, so that the Award funding is again intact. (If we all donated, that would be $20 per person!) If you are interested, we will be collecting donations at the reunion events or you may send your checks directly to the Foundation at the following address:
